Happy almost summer! The end of the school year is so near that I can almost taste the last day of school celebratory ice cream cone. I am so excited to be hosting my first Wayfair Housewarming Party as part of the Homemakers Team. Our party theme today is all about Crowd Pleasing Outdoor Party Spaces so some of my teammates and I will be sharing ideas to get you party ready.
Since Father’s Day is coming up I am going to get this party started by sharing my Build Your Own Burger Bar I created for my husband and some special dads in our lives. There are lots of free printables including a HAPPY FATHER’S DAY banner.
Dress up some simple baskets from the dollar store with decorative garland and you’ve got some festive food trays!
Eat Drink & Save Money has some great ideas on how to host a BBQ taste test party that your guests will love.
Decorate your tables with some beautiful succulents in Kool Aid dyed yarn pots. You can make them in just about any color combination and your kids will love helping you.
Don’t forget to decorate the indoors too! The Honeycomb Home has some great ideas on how to “summerize” your mantel.
Want to serve something unexpected at your next outdoor party? Try this Lemon Yogurt Chicken with Coconut Rice. This was a party hit in our house last summer.
Grilling is one of our favorite things to do when the weather turns warm and we are big fans of homemade BBQ sauce. You can get the recipe for this sauce (perfect for grilled ribs) courtesy of Close to Home.
Making your own chalk paint! This is a great activity to keep the kids entertained. You can find the step by step how to here.
Need a party favor idea? The Dempster Log Book has created a free “Welcome Summer” free printable for you that you can add to a bag of goodies.
Add a summer flair to your door with this Summer Wreath tutorial from Tiger Strypes.
We would LOVE to see what ideas you have to share for a crowd pleasing outdoor party space! It can be a recipe, DIY, tutorial, party idea, cocktail, free printable, or a party. Link up with us!

What a fun collection of summer ideas. I really like your Build Your Own Burger Bar idea and I know my family will, too. Thanks for including my kool-aid dyed yarn plant pots.

Thank you, Susan! We had so much fun with that party and really do love all the new Heinz sauces. Your yarn tutorial is such a fun idea and something I can easily do with my little one. Thank you!
