When Christie of Flaired Affairs said she was looking for an antique Halloween postcard kind of set I thought back to a set of vintage images I had and thought, “Yeah, I can do that!” She wanted to add a modern twist and make it girly for a tea party so we incorporated a pretty sea blue accent. The tea party guests came to the party dressed in their witchy whimsical best complete with tutu gowns from Atutudes and gorgeous fascinator hats from Cupcake Wishes and Birthday Dreams. There is nothing scary about those beauties!
Christie says: “The dessert table was complete with traditional sweets found around Halloween; red velvet cupcakes tea tabletops, selection of hand painted sugar cookies, chocolates, salted caramel cake pops, chocolate covered Oreo cookies with beautiful hand crafted antiqued frames and popcorn cones. A variety of candies were used as part of the decor to set off the beautiful desserts.
The tea party table settings included the cutest kitty cat sugar cubes! Almost too adorable to drop into the tea along with gorgeous cookies to match. Everything was tied beautifully together with the invitation and coordinating paperie. You can see so many of the fun details here…”
